Overview

The Bardia Hospital, located in Ward No. 6 of Gulariya Municipality in Bardia district, was established in 1940 AD as a tripartite hospital and connected with the main road of Hulaki Sadak. It has been providing quality health services with limited resources as the only referral center in the district. Since 2071 BS, it has been upgraded to a 50-bed hospital from a district hospital. Currently, there are 10 specialist doctors, 4 medical officers, and 1 dental surgeon who are providing services at the hospital. Although there are only 59 staff members due to the lack of human resources, the hospital is providing quality services to the community through the dedicated efforts of health workers and other staff under the development committee. The hospital under the Lumbini Pradesh government provides various services including outpatient services (except for public holidays), emergency services (24 hours), laboratory services (24 hours), inpatient services (24 hours), operation services, free delivery services, dental services, consultation and treatment services for sexual violence, safe abortion services, physiotherapy services, endoscopy services, sickle cell anemia testing services, radiology services, maternity and child health services, and other services.
