Overview
Health service is an essential service for human beings. It is the duty of the state to provide health services at the grassroots level in a convenient, reliable, transparent, and affordable manner. This hospital was started in 2016 as a dispensary in Baglung district of the Dhaulagiri region. Later, from 2033 BS, it was operated as Baglung district hospital. Its goal is to prevent and treat diseases that enhance the physical and mental health of the general public through the development and advancement of modern and traditional health care methods, to establish policies, to collaborate with non-governmental organizations and the private sector to implement health-related programs, to conduct research and evaluation, and to bring positive change in the standard of living of the people. In line with this goal, Baglung Hospital has been upgraded and started providing specialized services as Dhaulagiri Regional Hospital from Kartik 2067. It is expected to benefit around 600,000 people from the four districts of Dhaulagiri region, namely Parbat, Myagdi, Mustang, and Baglung.
