While the main teaching hospital with 500-bed capacity is still under construction at BMC, a well-established 400-bed Biratnagar Aspatal Pvt Ltd serves as an initial practical prerequisite. The facility offers a comprehensive range of health and medical services, including inpatient facilities and outpatient clinics, and is also a specialist center that receives referrals from across the country.

With the eventual integration of BHRC, BMC's total capacity will increase to a 900-bed Community and Super Specialty Hospital.
